Cairo

Day 1: Cairo
Overnight stay at The Swiss Inn Pyramid Golf Hotel.
Dinner at the hotel (extra charge).
Day 2: Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel (included).
Trip to the Pyramids and Sphinx.
Lunch (not included).
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Dinner in Cairo (not included).
Day 3: Cairo
Early morning yoga by the pool.
Breakfast at the hotel (included).
Tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Lunch (not included).
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Dinner in Cairo (not included).

Luxor

Day 4: Fly to Luxor (internal flight)
Meet on arrival and transfer to the cruise boat (approx. 30 minutes).
Full board on the cruise — all meals included.
Overnight moored in Luxor.

Nile Cruise

Day 5: Valley of the Kings
Cross to the West Bank for the first excursion: Valley of the Kings.
Visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, then the Colossi of Memnon.
Full board meals.
Sail upstream to Esna and pass through the Lock.
Overnight in Esna.
Day 6: Edfu & Kom Ombo
Early morning visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu.
Continue upstream to Kom Ombo for a late afternoon visit to the Ptolemaic temple dedicated to Haroeris and Sobek.
Continue sailing to Aswan (two nights).
Full board meals.

Aswan

Day 7: Aswan
Sunrise yoga by the pool.
Explore Aswan, including: High Dam, Old Granite Quarries, Unfinished Obelisk, and boat to the Temple of Philae on Agilika Island.
After lunch, board a Felucca (traditional Egyptian sailing boat) for an included cruise down the Nile and around Kitchener Island, returning for dinner.
Full board meals.
Day 8: Abu Simbel (Optional)
Free time to explore Aswan, or join the optional excursion to Abu Simbel to see the four colossal statues of Ramses II.
Optional excursion by coach: approx. £92 (additional price, payable locally).
Optional bird watching and a visit to a Nubian house can be arranged in the afternoon.
Full board meals.

Return Journey

Day 9: Nile River
A quieter day sailing downstream before arriving late evening in Esna.
Relax on board — pool, reading, and views.
Overnight on board in Esna.
Full board meals.
Day 10: Luxor Temples
Sail from Esna to Luxor, arriving at lunchtime.
Afternoon visit to Karnak Temple (vast complex of temples dedicated to the Theban Gods).
Then explore the Temple of Luxor, once connected to Karnak by an avenue of Sphinxes.
Optional evening excursion: Sound & Light Show at Karnak (book locally).
Full board meals.
Day 11: Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight to London Heathrow.

Cairo: The Swiss Inn Pyramid Golf Hotel

Price basis: Based on sharing a twin room in Cairo and on the Nile Cruise.

Nile Cruise Boat

The boat takes 160 passengers at full capacity and a maximum of 80 guests.
Facilities include a sundeck, plunge pool, restaurant and bar, local cultural entertainment, and a small spa (massage or pedicure/manicure available if required).

Payment Terms

Deposits and all payments are non-refundable.

No refunds are available due to flight bookings, cruise bookings, and hotel payments.

We cannot accept booking cancellations. Please ensure you have suitable holiday insurance.
